About Blu-White

Blu-White Cleaners was originally established by a Japanese American proprietor in San Mateo back in 1909. It was only one shop on "B" Street, which catered to the local clientele with specific mission to keep the customers absolutely satisfied.
All the work was performed on the premises by the owner and the final products could only be termed as superlative quality.
When the owners decided to retire back in 1984, there was only one option available, and that was to sell the business stock, lock and barrel to a new generation of the entrepreneurs who could take this business to a whole new level through the volatile decades ahead.
With self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a great deal of vigor this business has been re-invented and given a new lease on life to serve all the customers, new and old alike.
Blu White’s goal is to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion of service within its sphere of operations.
We have relocated the main plant to the city of San Carlos in 1991, developed a new environment, more efficient, and central to a number of retail outlets that are owned and operated by Blu White.
We are planning for the next millennium and poised to lead. We are one of the largest commercial laundry and dry cleaning plants in the Peninsula, and we intend to give our clients the best high-quality service available anywhere in the Bay Area. We have incorporated a logistical system for the delivery of our services to individual accounts or any of the retail outlets efficiently, effectively and promptly.
We are always looking to improve our response time and assess our customers’ needs and expectations before it happens.
To give our customers the best results in Dry Cleaning garments, house hold goods, and to protect the environment from solvent fumes, we have deployed the latest and most efficient PERMAC dry cleaning machines built in Germany that is available in the United States.
We are utilizing the latest techniques and products in the industry to give our clients the best possible look in their garments at work or play. Hand-finished shirts/blouses to maintain the excellence in taste and appearance is only one instrument to insure our clients’ satisfaction and loyalty to Blu White.
Currently we own and operate three retail outlets in San Francisco, two in Palo Alto and one in Sausalito. However they are not all under Blu White name, we also provide wholesale services to other retail outlets around the Bay Area. New outlets are on the planning board for the near future, and they will all have the same corporate
